Carly

Carly learned how to swim by taking swim lessons when she was 4 years old. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the butterfly. She played waterpolo in high school and worked as a lifeguard for one summer. She has childcare experience as a babysitter and private reading tutor. She goes to school at University of SF where she is studying history. Some of her hobbies include listening to music and reading. She has a passion for helping her students learn new skills.

Dayman

Dayman has been swimming since he took swim lessons in kindergarten and swam competitively for a club team for 3 years. His favorite event to swim is the 50 free and his favorite stroke to teach his students is the freestyle. He goes to school at SFSU where he is studying mechanical engineering. He is excited to help his students master their swim skills.

Gabe

Kenzie

Kenzie has been swimming since she was a toddler and swam on a competitive swim team for 9 years. Her favorite event to compete in is the individual medley and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the butterfly. She has worked with kids in the water as a lifeguard for 1 year and as a swim instructor for kids and adults of all ages. Additionally, she has worked as a daycare teacher. She goes to school at SFSU where she is studying interior design. Some of her hobbies include hiking, paddle boarding and growing plants. Her favorite movie is Lilo & Stitch and her favorite animals are cats. Her favorite thing about teaching swim lessons is being able to show her students new skills.

Kub

Kub has been swimming since she was 3 years old and took swim lessons to perfect her swim technique. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the freestyle. She has childcare experience as an elementary school teacher's assistant. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her dog and practicing gymnastics. She is excited to help her students step outside their comfort zone.

Michelle

Michelle has been swimming since she was 7 years old and her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the butterfly. She has childcare experience through her time working in customer service. She goes to school at Skyline College where she is studying psychology. She is excited to help her students learn proper swim technique.

Miko

Miko has been swimming since he was 6 years old and swam competitively from elementary school all the way through high school. He has several swim awards for his freestyle and breaststroke. He has 1 year of previous childcare experience as a registered behavioral technician. He goes to school at Cebu Doctors University where he is studying occupational therapy. Some of his hobbies include photography and going to concerts. He is excited to see his student's progress.

Monique

Monique swam competitively for her high school's swim and water polo teams. Her favorite event to swim is the 50 free and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the breaststroke. She has childcare experience as a tutor and as a daycare teacher. She goes to school at SFSU where she is studying psychology. Some of her hobbies include running and going to the gym. She is excited to pass her skills on to her students.

Shaniya

Shaniya learned how to swim at the age of five and she swam competitively for three years on her high school swim team. Shaniya gained experience working with children through babysitting ages two to ten years old. Her favorite thing about teaching swimming lesson is watching her students grow and achieve their goals. Shaniya is studying Communicative Disorders at San Francisco State University. When she is not in the pool, Shaniya enjoys going to concerts and playing water polo!
