Austin

Diana

Diana has been swimming ever since she can remember. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the freestyle. She has experience working in the water as a swim teacher for 2 swim schools. Additionally, she has worked with kids as a babysitter. Some of her hobbies include running and going to the gym. Her favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch and her favorite food is pasta. She is excited to pass her passion for swimming to her students.

Emely

Emely has been swimming since she was a child and took a swim class in college to perfect her swim technique. She has childcare experience as a children's motor development coach. She went to school for kinesiology and some of her hobbies include music and playing sports. She is excited to help her students feel safer in the water.

Lorena

Lorena swam competitively for 3 years in high school. Her favorite event to compete in is the 200 IM and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the butterfly. She has 16 years of childcare experience. She goes to school at CSU Northridge where she is studying public health. Some of her hobbies include being in nature and working out. She has a passion for teaching water safety.

Nick

Nick has been swimming since he was 3 years old and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the breaststroke. He has worked as a water supervisor for 1 year and worked as a kids referee and coach for 2 years.  He goes to school at CSUN where he is studying business. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing baseball and being around his family. His favorite cartoon character is Mickey Mouse and his favorite books are the Harry Potter series. His favorite thing about teaching swim lessons is seeing each student make progress throughout their lessons. 

Parsa

Parsa swam for a youth swim program for 4 years and his favorite stroke to swim is the backstroke. He has childcare experience as a Rubiks cube coach. Some of his hobbies include reading and going to the gym. He has a passion for sharing his skills with his students.

Rhett

Rhett has been swimming since he was 4 years old and swam for a youth swim team for 2 years. He continued swimming competitively on a swim and dive team for 7 years. His favorite event to swim is the 50 free and his favorite stroke to teach his students is the backstroke. He has experience working with kids as a gymnastics teacher. Some of his hobbies include being outdoors, fishing and hiking. His favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean and his favorite animals are dogs. He has a passion for helping his students learn new skills.

Shalom

Shalom has been swimming since he was 4 years old and went on to compete on his school's rowing team for 3 years. He has childcare experience as a tutor for 6 years and as an elementary school volunteer for 2 years. He is currently going to school for music and gender studies and some of his hobbies include dancing and photography. He is excited to help his students feel safer in the water.
