Ariana

Ariana has been swimming since she was 7 years old and took swim lessons to perfect her technique. She taught her younger family members how to swim. She goes to school at CSU Long Beach where she is studying liberal studies. Some of her hobbies include dancing and crocheting. She is excited to help her students become safer in the water.

David

David has been swimming since he was 8 years old and took swim lessons for several years to perfect his swim technique. His favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. He has childcare experience as a daycare worker for 1 year. He goes to school at CSU Long Beach where he is studying aerospace engineering. Some of his hobbies include rock climbing and hiking. He is excited to connect with his students in the water!

Franchesca

Franchesca has been swimming since she was 5 years old and took swim lessons to perfect her technique. Her favorite stroke to swim is the breaststroke and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the backstroke. She taught her younger cousins how to swim and has worked with kids as a math tutor. In her free time she enjoys baking and crafting. Her favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog and her favorite animals are cats. She is excited to build a connection with her students and teach them about water safety.

Garran

Garran has been swimming since he took swim lessons as a child and swam with the junior lifeguards. He swam competitively and played water polo throughout middle school and high school. He has childcare experience as a babysitter for kids of all ages. He goes to school at El Camino College where he is studying communications. Some of his hobbies include working out and baking. He is excited to help his students learn about water safety.

Jezelle

Jezelle has been swimming since she was a young child and took swim lessons when she was 3 years old to perfect her swim technique. She began swimming competitively in the 5th grade and continued through high school on her school's varsity swim team. She has childcare experience as a basketball summer camp counselor. She goes to school at Long Beach City College where she is studying communications. Some of her hobbies include going to the beach and crafting. She is excited to help her students feel safer in the water.

Nicki

Nicole has been swimming her whole life. She took swim lessons at 9 years old to perfect her technique. She began teaching swim lessons when she was 17 years old for kids of all ages for 2 and a half years. She worked as a lifeguard for 6 years and as an Aquatics Director for 4 years. Lastly, she has taught swim and lifesaving merit badge courses for 2 years. Additionally, she has childcare experience as a parks and rec worker for 10 years. She went to school at Cal Poly Pomona where she earned a Master of Science. She is excited to see each student excel in the water!
