Aiden

Aiden has been swimming for as long as he can remember and took lessons at 7 years old to perfect his technique. He goes to school at Cal State Long Beach where he is studying healthcare admin. He has a passion for building a connection with each student and helping you achieve your goals.

AJ

AJ has been swimming since he was a child and has swam on several swim teams including at the collegiate level. Additionally, he played water polo in high school and college. His favorite event to swim is the 400 medley and his favorite stroke to swim is the freestyle. He has previous experience as a lifeguard and as a swim instructor for Mt SAC where he taught kids and adults of all ages. He goes to school at Whittier College where he is studying English. Some of his hobbies include snowboarding and writing. He is excited to pass on his swim skills to his students.

Christina

Christina has been swimming since she was a toddler and started swimming competitively in high school for both the Varsity swim and water polo teams. She continued to competitively swim in college and trained to become a lifeguard. She has experience working with kids as an after-school teacher and a preschool teacher. She goes to school at Cal State Fullerton where she is studying child development. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, going camping and hiking. Her favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast and her favorite animals are pigs. She is excited to help her students become more confident in the water.

Emily

Emily has been swimming since she took swim lessons as a young child. She has experience working with kids as a daycare teacher. She would describe herself and funny and patient! In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and eating cookies. Her favorite food is pasta and her favorite animals are dogs. She is excited to help her students accomplish their swim goals.

Franchesca (sub)

Franchesca has been swimming since she was 5 years old and took swim lessons to perfect her technique. Her favorite stroke to swim is the breaststroke and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the backstroke. She taught her younger cousins how to swim and has worked with kids as a math tutor. In her free time she enjoys baking and crafting. Her favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog and her favorite animals are cats. She is excited to build a connection with her students and teach them about water safety.

Jeremiah

Jeremiah has been swimming since he was 9 years old. His favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the breaststroke. He has experience working with kids as a family photographer. He goes to school at Cal State Dominguez Hills where he is studying audio engineering. Some of his hobbies include listening to music and going to live events. He has a passion for helping his students learn about water safety.

Julia

Kylee

Kylee has been swimming since she was 2 years old and swam competitively for a youth swim club. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the backstroke. She has several years of childcare experience as a elementary school program leader. She goes to school at Cypress College where she is studying education. Some of her hobbies include dancing and rock climbing. She has a passion for helping children learn new skills.

Maylin

Michelle

Michelle swam on a youth swim team for 4 years and continued swimming on her high school's water polo and swim teams. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the freestyle. She has childcare experience as a camp counselor. She goes to school at CSU Long Beach where she is studying marketing. Some of her hobbies include eating sushi and trying new restaurants. She is excited to be a part of her student's swim journeys.

Myla

Myla has been swimming ever since she can remember. She swam competitively for 8 years including for her high school's swim team. Her favorite stroke to swim and teach her students is the breaststroke. She has experience teaching swim lessons to kids of all ages at her swim club. Additionally, she has 4 years of childcare experience. Some of her hobbies include listening to music and knitting. Her favorite food is tamales and her favorite movie is Cars. She is excited to teach her students water safety.

Nathan

Nathan has been swimming since he was 6 years old and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. He has several years of childcare experience as a babysitter and as a teacher's assistant. He goes to school at Cerritos College where he is studying business and in his free time enjoys taking care of his lizards. He is excited to see all his students grow in the water.

Nehemiah

Nehemiah has been swimming since he was a child and played as a goalie for a water polo team. He taught his younger family members how to swim and has childcare experience as a church volunteer. He goes to school at CSU where he is studying criminology. Some of his hobbies include playing basketball and dancing. He is excited to help his students become safer swimmers.

Olivia

Olivia has been swimming since she was 2 years old and went to to swimming competitively for 8 years. Her favorite event to compete in is the 500 free and swam yearly in the junior olympics. She has experience working as an assistant swim coach and has childcare experience as a babysitter for children with special needs. Some of her hobbies include thrifting and singing. She is excited to help her students feel safer in the water.

Walter

Walter played water polo on her high school's swim team for 4 years and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. He has childcare experience as a student volunteer for 1 year. He goes to school at Cal State Long Beach where he is studying economics. Some of his hobbies include listening to music and reading. He has a passion for helping his students learn new skills.
