New Pasadena Instructors


Waterworks Aquatics would like to welcome our new Pasadena instructors - Anahie & Gabby!

To find out more about their swimming background and experience working with children, please read below:

Anahie

Anahie learned how to swim at the age of five and has loved the water ever since. She swam competitively all four years of high school and made it on Varsity her last two years. Her favorite event is the 100 Freestyle and her favorite stroke is Backstroke. Anahie has worked with children of all ages being a soccer coach and babysitting her nieces and nephews. Her favorite part of teaching swimming lessons is being able to interact with her student's one on one and being able to see their growth through their lessons. She is currently attending California State University of Los Angeles and is studying Sociology and Communications. Some of her hobbies include playing soccer and spending time with her family.

Bilingual: Spanish

Gabby

Gabby began swimming at the young age of two when her parents began teaching her how to swim. One of her favorite strokes is Freestyle. Gabby has worked with children of all ages through babysitting and being a teacher’s assistant during the summer which included helping out the 2nd grade children with their English and Math. Gabby is currently a robotics programming teacher to the 4th, 5th and 6th graders in Lincoln Heights. Her favorite thing about teaching swimming lessons is being able to see the joy on her student’s faces when they accomplish their goals. Gabby is currently attending Mount St. Mary’s and studying Computer Science. Some of her hobbies include playing soccer, softball and teaching robotics and programming.
