Our team believes that swimming is a lifelong skill that anyone can learn, no matter what age. Our swim instructors at the Hayward-Foothill location have a passion for working with both children and adults.

Christopher
Christopher has been swimming since he was 7 years old and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. He has experience teaching his younger family members how to swim. Additionally, he has worked with kids for about 8 years as a babysitter.
Some of his hobbies include cooking, playing games and helping others. His favorite animals are otters and his favorite book is The Big Friendly Giant. His favorite thing about teaching swim lessons is helping his students become confident in the water.

Ethan
Ethan has been swimming since he learned to swim at 6 years old and learned to play water polo. He continued to play water polo with his friends and competed in the CA competition in Civil Air Patrol for endurance swimming. His favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the backstroke. He has experience working with kids as a babysitter for all ages.
He goes to school at Chabot College where he is studying engineering. Some of his hobbies include building Legos and flying model planes. He is excited to help his students become safer in and around the water.

Jennifer
Jennifer began swimming at the age of five with the help of her mother. Her favorite event is the 50-meter freestyle and her favorite stroke to teach her student’s include freestyle and backstroke. In addition to swimming, she played soccer for five years. She has experience working with children as a swim instructor, girl’s youth soccer coach, and babysitter.
She goes to school at Chabot College where she is studying International Relations. Some of her hobbies include going to museums, painting, and listening to music. Her favorite dessert is ice cream and her favorite animals include dogs and cats. She is passionate about teaching and can’t wait for her students to find a love for swimming.

Jocelyn
Jocelyn has been swimming for as long as she remembers and has also done softball and boxing since she was 8-9 years old. She has experience working with children as a babysitter as well as volunteered for a day care facility. Her great communicating skills enabled her to be a great leader for her school where she taught underclassmen.
Jocelyn is a fun and full of energy instructor who is excited to teach her students how to swim and share her passion for swimming!

Lalo
Lalo has been swimming since he was 5 years old and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. In addition to swimming, he has competed in powerlifting and played football in high school. He has experience teaching his younger family members how to swim and has worked as a babysitter for over 2 years.
In his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants and hanging out with his family. His favorite movie is Frozen and his favorite animals are sloths. He is excited to see each student grow!

Tiara
Tiara has been swimming since she was 3 years old. Her favorite stroke to swim is the freestyle and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the butterfly. She has experience working with kids as a babysitter.
She goes to school at Chabot Community College where she is studying biology. In her free time, she enjoys dog training and listening to music. Her favorite movie is Moana and her favorite food is sushi. She is excited to help each student perfect their swim technique.
