Why Choose Waterworks?

Our Philosophy
Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.
We have chosen to share our love of swimming with children and believe there is a swimmer in every child. We pride ourselves on teaching the necessary skills needed to become a comfortable, proficient swimmer right from the beginning.
Our Teaching Methods
Safety, fast progress and fun learning are the cornerstones of our award-winning swim schools. With a supportive atmosphere and child-centered approach, we encourage children to have fun in the water while improving their water skills.
By utilizing a specialized muscle memory technique, along with our rollover breathing method, we are able to teach stroke technique at a very quick rate. By learning to roll over onto their backs to breathe, young children are empowered to be safer in the water and swim across the pool.
The 1:1 or 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio ensures that students receive a personalized lesson that is structured yet flexible to meet the needs of each individual, allowing students to steadily progress and thrive in a safe, comfortable environment.

Benefits of Year-Round Swimming
For Best Results, Swim All Year
Just like any activity, swim students learn more, advance faster and become stronger swimmers with continual training. Waterworks Aquatics provides year-round opportunities for children and adults to be safer in the water, physically active and then become the best swimmers they can be.
There is a common misconception that swimming is only a summertime activity. The truth is that water emergencies can occur during any time of the year. Knowing how to survive and swim can be one of the most important skills to have. With shiver-free heated swimming pools, Waterworks Aquatics is an ideal location to learn and reinforce swimming skills all year round.
Here are some more reasons to continue swim lessons throughout the year:
- SAFETY FIRST!
As mentioned above, having swimming skills allows children and adults to be safe around water and reduces the fear that can sometimes be associated with being in water. Continuing lessons throughout the year creates even more safer and stronger swimmers that will likely know what to do in a water emergency.
- IT’S GREAT EXERCISE!
Swimming is a low impact, full body cardiovascular workout. In children and adults, it offers a range of benefits such as improved strength, flexibility and coordination.
- IT CAN MAKE US FEEL GREAT!
One of the most important lessons we can learn is that practice pays off. It takes dedication and practice to learn and perfect swimming skills. The added confidence is priceless.
- IT’S A GATEWAY TO WATER SPORTS!
As swimming skills and confidence grow, so will the opportunity to participate in water sports, such as swim competitions, competitive diving, water polo, surfing and more!

Awards We’ve Won

Hear what families are saying...
Worth every penny. By the third class, our daughter was swimming with no fear and quickly learned to backstroke… We feel relieved knowing she is safe in the pool.
Swimming the length of the pool after his first session. By the end of his first lesson, my son was swimming the length of the pool and floating on his back solo.
Water safe in just a few short weeks. My daughter was afraid of the water, but after just a few weeks she was swimming on her own… I’m beyond happy.
Far better than other swim schools we tried. The improvement I saw in my children was at least twice as great as any other program we’ve used in the past.
Swimming all four strokes in under a year. Our 4-year-old went from not knowing how to swim to swimming all four strokes and joining swim team… I don’t believe there is a better place to learn to swim.
