Gustavo

Gustavo has been swimming since he was 8 years old and has loved to swim ever since. He loves helping children learn different swimming techniques as well as helping them reach their skill goals. 

He was a youth mentor for the Los Angeles Football Club Youth Leadership Program where he mentored children of varying ages. He loves working with children and helping each student succeed!

Jocelyn

Jocelyn has been swimming since she was 7 years old and her favorite stroke to swim is the breaststroke. She has experience working as a swim instructor for several years where she taught students of all ages. In addition to swimming, she has worked as a babysitter and a nanny for young children. 

She goes to school at LA Valley College where she is studying child development. In her free time she enjoys singing, dancing and reading. She loves to watch Disney movies and her favorite is Toy Story. She has a passion for working with students and can't wait to bring fun to each swim lesson.

Joey

Joey learned how to swim from his grandpa, who was a chief lifeguard in LA for 50 years. He began swimming competitively when he was 10 years old and his favorite stroke to swim and teach his students is the freestyle. He has experience working with kids as a preschool aid and has babysat the younger kids in his family. 

Some of his hobbies include real estate and learning about the law. His favorite tv show is Gravity Falls and his favorite animals are cats. He is excited to share his swim skills with his students. 

Maddy

Maddy has been swimming since she was 3 years old and swam competitively in high school for 3 years. Her favorite event to compete in is the 50 free and her favorite stroke to teach her students is the backstroke. She swam with the junior lifeguards for several summers and was in the girl scouts. She has worked with kids as a dance teacher for 1 year and has babysat kids of all ages. 

In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading books. Her favorite movie is Princess and the Frog and her favorite books are the Harry Potter series. She is excited to teach her students lifesaving skills. 

Madeline

Madeline has been swimming both as a hobby and competitively since she was 3 years old. In high school, she swam on the varsity swim team and received several awards in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. She has experience working as a lifeguard and teaching children as young as 3 years old how to swim. She is a huge sports fan and has played basketball and ran cross country.

She goes to school at Antelope Valley College where she is studying psychology. In her free time, she enjoys writing, listening to music and staying fit. She loves to watch movies and her favorite movie is Howls Moving Castle. She is excited to introduce her students to competitive swimming.
